In response to requests from its financial advisors, Summit has, in working with Docupace, crafted a solution designed to meet advisors’ online document storage needs while meeting the books and records requirements for both FINRA and the SEC.
Once the advisor’s paperwork is accurately scanned and indexed in accordance with Summit’s guidelines, the paperwork can be shredded to recapture valuable storage space. In addition, Docupace integrates with every scanner on the market – including multi-function devices.
Summit acknowledges that advisors have other document management needs beyond the daily interaction with their broker/dealer. Due to the controls within Docupace advisors have a SINGLE view of their client information while at the same time controlling access for their BD documents.
